Dr Oby Ezekwesili

Today the Education Minister Dr Oby Ezekwesili shed tears as she made a presentation on the appalling condition of public schools at the lunching of Community Accountability and Transparency Initiative in Abuja to various stakeholders.
Some of those that attended were said to have been surprised to see the images gathered and were wondering if those were actually in Nigeria.

Those in attendance and surprised must have included top Government officials. This goes to prove that either they are pretending not to know the level of decay in various sectors of the economy or they actually don’t know how bad it is in the country.

I think we, as citizens need to help them by showing the true picture of the other side of things in Nigeria. Probably the split unit air conditioners in their offices make the offices too comfortable for them to go out or they are just ignorant of the situation in the country.

This in no doubt will expose the country further to the outside world which does not give a good image of the country but lets not forget this does not only exist in Nigeria, besides how else will it be possible to get to Mr. President or those in power to show them and let them know how the country truly is apart from through the internet.

There should be more follow ups to the soldiers' video

Ohafia dance

Check out this video I shot on one of my trips back to my country home. It's called Ohafia war dance.
Usually its a dance done before and after a war back in ancient times. The methods of dancing varied from warrior to warrior depending on how good you are on the battle field.
It has evolved to be a dance done for the fun of it. It can be danced during special celebrations.
